I need a display rack - to go on a table top freestanding. A bit like the sort of thing that you see cards displayed in at fair/fayres. I need it to display books.

Have googled till i'm blue in the face. Can anyone help ?

auntymandy · 20/09/2005 15:59

auntymandy · 20/09/2005 16:04

Kayleigh · 20/09/2005 16:07

I could buy stands through DK can you not get them through yours or your up liner could lend some?

auntymandy · 20/09/2005 16:11

I love books...might have to see what you have!!!!

Kayleigh · 20/09/2005 16:14

auntymandy i am a mini-iq associate. It's childrens books for ages 0-12 years.

I didn't think of asking my sponsor - i'm sure she must have some. Will drop her an email too. God I'm being dense today.....

you can get one from a place called Top Stone, do a Google search and a place called Hope Education (Google again!), they have them for £6.99ish plus postage, delivery may take a while though

anniebear · 20/09/2005 16:41

Also look at

www.topstonedisplays.co.uk/prodpage.shtml?prodpage2.shtml#stmatt

Both Links are cheaper than the E Bay one, just check over delivery times

anniebear · 20/09/2005 16:44

Sorry, the Hope Education one didn't work properly

Look at Furniture And Storage, look under book storage and look at the desk top book stand

It's £6.48

auntymandy · 20/09/2005 18:11

never looked at the price of the ebay one! Might be others on there though. Your sponser should have some though. Where do you come from? Just wondered if i would know your sponser..doubt it though!
Does anyone know if Red house books is still going? I could search!

Kayleigh · 20/09/2005 18:34

anniebear that hope site is fabulous. I think i'll get a couple of the small ones to start with. £6.48 each is brilliant. thank you

auntymandy - the person i am talking about is in west london,

auntymandy · 20/09/2005 18:36

I am in yorks but our line started in london. anna scot was the top dont remember many others it was years ago!

anniebear · 20/09/2005 18:36

I ordered two, thought delivery was a bit steep though, but they were exactly what I wanted and also struggled to find!!

Be careful over delivery if you want them soon. It was a long time

Jimjams · 20/09/2005 18:37

If you're near me (devon). I can sell you one for a fiver. (used it for mini iq)

anniebear · 20/09/2005 18:37

No Jimjams, send it to me lol lol

Kayleigh · 21/09/2005 07:29

thanks for the offer jimjams but i'm miles away unfortunately, and postage wouldn't be worth it.
I didn't know you had done mini-iq.

I went to a friend last night who sells phoenix cards and she is going to order me one of her card racks which will be perfect - and just £18.
So looks like I'm sorted.

anniebear · 21/09/2005 11:01

Does she get the rack from phoenix cards ?

Kayleigh · 21/09/2005 11:48

Yes she does anniebear. Had a look at it last night and it is perfect for books. Folds flat as well.

anniebear · 21/09/2005 20:18

thanks

Jimjams · 21/09/2005 20:37

mine is a phoenix cards one- it is good for books (although watch on slippery surfaces as it can collapse)

Kayleigh · 21/09/2005 22:47

thanks for the warning jimjams. I won't take it ice skating !

Skribble · 21/09/2005 22:48

Kayleigh you will need the one with rubber feet or blades for that .
