Recommend a good hand cream

I wash my hands so much having two LO's and with the weather and central heating my hands are getting so sore and chapped. I've tried intense moisturiser creams but they really sting my hands, E45 seems to be the only cream that doesn't sting but I don't find it very long lasting.
Has anybody tried and tested some good ones?

have the same problem, trying the Aveeno hand cream which says it lasts 24hrs even when hands in water. I apply morning and night. Liz Earle hand cream is also excellent, absorbs quickly and if you have sensitive skin it won't irritate. It depends how much you want to pay as well, l'occitane is good packed with shea butter, elemis but I only get those as presents. The aveeno i can get at tesco, so its convenient.

aveeno is on offer in sainers at the moment and it is working for me.

I suffer too with really dry, sore hands in the winter time. Just started using Eucerin hand cream & find it excellent. Its been on 3 for 2 in Boots recently too.

Any L'occitaine one will be good. I use Weleda one, it smells divine.

Also if you have sensitive skin a company called e y direct does a range of organic chemical free products. For very dry irritated & sensitive skin their Therapeutics moisturising cream is great. It costs about £12 and you can get it at www.eydirect.com. I use their products for my beauty business and love them. Usually very prompt on delivery too.

I get an amazing one on prescription (but in a BIG bottle so it doesn't work out too pricy). I had horrendous exzema on my hands and it was the only thing which came close to sorting it out. But...the name escapes me!! I'll have to post it later. I think you can buy it too.

Other than that, I have a bottle of L'Occitane Verbena on my desk which is pretty good for everyday use.

Cetraben. That's the one.
