Too many saitary pads

Trying to make space to fit more stuff in, the back of the airing cupboard saw daylight for the first time in years, and I came across 9 unopened packs of Always sanitary towels, plus a couple of opened packs (but they're all the individually wrapped sort). They must have been stockpiled before I had ds, and afterwards I wasn't able to use that make anymore. Now I don't need them (Mooncup - [insert smug icon]) so what do I do with them? Any suggestions?

Presuming you use the mooncup at least in part because you want to cut down on pollution caused by sanitary products it would seem really wasteful to use them for another purpose where cloths etc would be just as good. Surely the best use would be to stop someone buying more towels and creating more landfill, waste from prodcution etc - therefore I would suggest giving them to someone who will use them as sanpro - either the school or hospital or may be even your HV.

I think the 'alternative' suggestions are meant to be a bit tongue-in-cheek, Katherine .

Women's refuge - best idea, thanks Skribble.

PrettyCandles ... I think you might be on to something there! Bought a quite expensive vest/matching cardi, wool mix, at the start of the summer, and have only just worn it. Didn't want to taint it with underarm perspiration.

Why hasn't someone thought of that before?
