I'm absolutely furious with 3 at the moment - I let DD1 watch TV on my mobile while we were stuck waiting about this weekend. Last time I let her watch TV, it cost me £1 or £2 for a days' subscription to Nickelodeon, which I was happy to pay.
This time, she was watching CBBC, which you can get to with absolutely no warnings or safeguards or passwords or agreements to sell your soul, for about 10 mins, and suddenly I got a text saying I has spent £30!!!!
I called them to rant, and was told I should have realised it would cost a fortune because I don't have an internet add-on. But how should I have realised that if they didn't bother to inform me? They should have put up a note along the line of "You are about to spend your children's inheritance, would you like to buy an internet add-on instead?"
They're claiming they do inform you with the texts they send about spend. But you can't see the texts unless you exit the thing you're watching, so you don't get them until you're finished and bankrupt!
So, I find their morals reprehensible and wish to change network. Do all the networks behave like this, or is there one which actually looks after the interests of its customers before their own profit? (suspects the answer is no)
