I got some ages ago and have only recently found them again. Don't tell me I won't be able to buy them anymore!

did they attract dust or something? I find the laminate floor cloths do the same trick

Chandra · 05/09/2005 23:07

I think they may have been replaced by their dusters cousins, though those are not good for the floor...

BTW, Does anybody has wooden floors (ie ancient pine planks that have been sanded and barnished?) I'm desperate to find a method to give them a good deep clean. Any suggestions? I'm worried about the fragility of pine (will it warp if I have mop it?)

where did that "have" come from??

charliecat · 05/09/2005 23:08

I have tons from betterwear, also baby wipes fit in my pole thingy for more grubby marks.

Swiffer has been rebranded as Flash. You should be able to find 'Flash Dry Dusting Cloths'.

Ah, I have been looking for these as well.

We have sanded wooden boards and tend to hoover then damp mop, the boards are varnished so they don't warp but I love the swiffer type things for walls etc.

Ameriscot2005 · 07/09/2005 08:33

Flash Power Mop (aka Swiffer Wet Jet) is ideal for wooden floors as there is no sloshing and the floor is left dry.

Thanks MrsSpoon. It seems like the floor of the kitchen (oak) can take that without problems, the pine planks.... may need an extra coat of varnish
