my rucksack has broken after me stuffing it too full all the time when going to the hospital. needs to hold 4-6cloth nappies, change of clothes, food, snacks and drinks for the older 2, plus space for keys, phone purse etc.

Sadly misdee I love mine and will be needing it for a while. It's lovely and large. A gorgeous tan handbag. Leather, by Cuchicoo. Sadly they have stopped trading. but I haven't had an opportunity to tak about how gorgeous my bag is for ages.

I hope you find one.

btw, mine has a a keyholder, pocket for a mobile, my purse, for wipes, for bottles. Room for loads of nappies and changes of clothing. Space to carry snacks for the twins as well. Sorry.... just had to boast.

oh misdee... i am also having this dilemma... only mine has to attach to my pushchair as i am too lazy to carry it!

am currently liking ones by little company

misdee · 02/09/2005 23:09

to attach to my pram would be lovely as well.

the ltitle company ones do.... but i think if your handle is like mine (a loop one rather than 2 handles)... then it will slip down still!

misdee · 02/09/2005 23:18

its aproper pram, so yes it will wont it. wheres the little compnay?

I have this one in red. Whether it would hold everything would depend on how bulky your change of clothes is, it might be a little too small for your needs. You can wear it as a backpack or on the shoulder.

starlover · 02/09/2005 23:22

have a look \link{http://www.purpledudahs.co.uk/here}

misdee · 02/09/2005 23:22

i usually try to carry a light dress and pair of knickers for dd2, plus an extra sleepsuit for dd3.

misdee · 02/09/2005 23:23

oh i like this one

OP posts:
starlover · 02/09/2005 23:28

yeah i like that one too!

starlover · 02/09/2005 23:30

although may go for the big shoulder bag! all of them attach to the pushchair i think, even though they don't all say so

i need one that will go with a very boyish khaki pushchair though

misdee · 02/09/2005 23:31

was looking at the large shoulder bag as well. oh decisions decisions.

can i justify the price? should i sell more stuff on ebay? lol

what about the skiphop bags further down?

OP posts:
starlover · 02/09/2005 23:33

i think sometimes it is very good to spend money on lovely things. you do NEED a bag. and it will make your life easier as you won't have to carry it.

starlover · 02/09/2005 23:35

ahh yes, myself and hazellnut have both had skiphop threads recently!

only one is available in the uk i think. which is the skiphop duo (?)
and i don't think it's big enough for cloth nappies etc. hazellnut just got one and likes it.
there are 2 bigger versions but we couldn't find anywhere that stocked them over here!

bran · 02/09/2005 23:35

Why not just go for a bag and pack your own changing mat? Then you could pick up whatever size you like from any of the high street shops, it would definitely be much cheaper.

misdee · 02/09/2005 23:36

because i dont have time to go to the high street.

OP posts:
jessicaandbumpsmummy · 02/09/2005 23:37

i need one too for when bump arrives - only just managing to get everything in jess's mothercare bog standard change bag at the moment, let alone a load of stuff for a newborn as well!

starlover · 02/09/2005 23:37

but braaaaaaaaaaaan! then you have to carry it yourself!

MarsLady · 02/09/2005 23:44

mine not only has a lovely loop handle to put over my shoulder, but it has two individual loops with poppers that can go around the handles. It's tan coloured so goes with all buggies and doesn't look too girlie or too masculine.

did I mention that it was leather?
