These seem a pretty reasonable price to me.
Are they any good though?

The ones I have seen in the past are much more expensive.

Didn't want you to keep talking to yourself!

I'm looking at these also. Toddlers and puddles seem to go hand in hand.
They are a good price, though I've never had one of them before. I imagine the less padded one would be more adaptable if you layered underneath it for warmth whether it were autumn through to spring.

yeah, we have that exact one from go outdoors. perfect for loads of stuff, including sliding down the slide when it's been raining. my tip would be to put the elasticated ankles over the top of wellies, not tucked in, then the feet tend to stay dry too.

Ooh fab :) Thanks :)

Dd had one from Woolies years ago. But I passed it onto a friend.

Yes, hers was thinnish so it could be layered up with fleeces etc. In fact sometimes I put her big coat over the top of it..It was aged 18m and she wore it untill she was 4!!!

My little girl has the unpadded one in size 18-24months. She has been wearing it since she was aprox 11months and is still using it now at age 2 1/2.

They appear to be waterproof and are great even when its not actualy raining for children who tend to fall over a lot on wet grass or want to sit on wet swings.

We use a fleece underneath when its cold. She does however have another (smarter looking) coat that she can take on and off by herself. the splash suits are a little difficult to get in and out of so even an older toddler would need help to take the splash suit on and off.

Ds2 is 10m . I was going to get 12-18m. should I get 18-2 yrs then? I suppose I could roll the arms and legs up...or would they be too bulky/rolled up?

We have the first one which my daughter has sadly grown out of. It got loads of use, we purposely bought one that would be too big so it would last a couple of years.

In the winter she wore it in the snow with several layers underneath. In the summer she wore it with just one layer under. At a festival when it was blazing hot but had been raining she had it unzipped and the arms tied round her waist so she wouldn't melt, but could still sit/crawl/fall on the wet grass.

It scrunches up small so we just kept it in the bottom of her nappy bag.

I 2nd the advice of putting it over the wellies. It won't stay there, but there's a chance the feet will stay dry.

In fact with our "summer" holidays coming up I might buy her another.

Just checked DD's we got hers when she was about 13m and it's the 18-24m size. They're very thin so wouldn't be too bulky at all.
