I have a Radley bag. TBH I hadn't heard of Radley before I bought it 18 months ago but then I'm not particularly interested in handbags except as a means of carrying my stuff. My previous handbag was looking a bit tired, I usually buy one and use it until it wears out. I was walking through John Lewis anyway and so did a quick check to see whether there were any handbags that fitted my requirements in size and layout (style and colour are less important). One of the Radley ones did, so I bought it.

I'm very hard on handbags and the leather on the handle has gone a bit flaky but otherwise I'm very happy with it and would consider another one.

I've got the one you like and I've been pleased with it. I chose it because I really wanted an 'across the body' bag so that I have two hands free to deal with baby/pushchair etc. and it was the only one I liked at the time (although the dog dropped off it and was lost after about a month!). I must admit though, that now I've got it, I've noticed a lot of other people have got it too so it definitely is 'popular'!

My problem is that my mother-in-law bought me it for my birthday and she would never pay £70 for a bag for herself - as I result I think that she'll expect me to use it forever! Can see it will have to have an 'accident' when I eventually want a change!!!

I have a cheap Radley Bag (it's not leather). It's OK, it slings accross the body well but the bag doesn't fasten too well. A bit of a security risk imo.

Oh gawd! My sister and mum are hooked on those things! They buy one every time they're here.
