I have always wanted one and might be able to afford one soon (am saving ...)

Do you like yours? What are the pros and cons?

I have 3 DCs and need to do home-school, home-work, brownies/football team duty etc.

We love ours. Had it for about 4 years now. Pros are that you can fit in 6 adults comfortably but it's still easy to manouvere, you can take the seats out and use it to transport big stuff, only con is that the boot space is not massive - but big enough for our family shopping and we have roofbars/roofbox for holidays.

We had ours for a year and it was nothing but trouble-took it back to the garage time after time with mechanical problems(may have just been unlucky)
our nice garage man told us FIAT stood for Fix It Again Tomorrow and advised us to get a Ford!
However when it worked it was great-I loved the space, height and light airy feel

Oh yes we have had all of the FIAT problems too Shock I do like all 4 children having a full size seat though and it is very comfortable to travel in, the boot fits my shopping and a phil and teds in but not big enough for our camping stuff. Ours is quite cheap to run too.

We have one. It has the benefits of a small car - cheaper petrol, short length for parking in streets. However I can fit my 4 children in and hubby too. DH is only in our car once a week so most of the time we put the middle seat at the front down. It feels really spacious then. Previously I had a large 8 seater Toyota and it felt as if the two children on the 3rd row were miles away. Now I can actually talk to my children instead of shouting back to them! Obviously this is safer too. On long journeys we have to swap the four children around as the child in the front can often monopolise the conversation. If I have to say one negative it is that dh and I can't have a chat on our own in the front without the front child chipping in! We've had two small probs with the car but nothing of consequence - both times warning lights when nothing is wrong.

We've had ours for about 6 months. Bought it second hand from a dealer for just under £3000. No problems (yet!). I love it because: We can fit 3 high back boosters across the back seats; as it's so big inside I can strap everyone in whilst in the car myself; there's plenty of space to picnic in the car using the middle front seat as a table; it's very easy to drive and doesn't feel like a people-carrier; the height inside the car and the huge windows. And regarding space, I've just returned for 3 weeks camping with me, dh, 3xdd, 6-man tent, table, chairs, bedding, stove , 2 prams etc. and we didn't even use a roofrack (although kids are small so we can pack stuff around their feet) so I think they're surprisingly roomy.

Had one as a company car. Loved the fact that it was roomy enough to fit all six of us in (the boot was huge but we never found it too much of a problem) and the good visibility. Also comfortable, even on longish journeys.

Main disadvantage was, imo, poor MPG. Never had any real mechanical problems although people had warned me about Fiats.
Overall would recommend it.

Ooopd - meant to say 'the boot was not huge Blush
