We did, we took it off at the end of the weekend and he didn't have it on last week at all. After my fate was sealed and becoming resigned to two extra weeks caged, I was allowed out for hygiene and hair removal, and re-caged immediately. My wife treated me to a consolation dinner on Saturday evening. She decided to wear the key again! She is still in full tease mode.

It's often said that an initial three months without a break is necessary to reset your mind and body.

Apart from, as you say, hygiene, inspection, and hair removal. Prompt relock is normal.

It’s hygiene day today, so supervised time out of the cage for a brief tidy up.
Someone suggested any further rule breaks should get an extension to just under 3 months caged, which I thought was extreme. So did my wife, the 6 weeks I’ll currently ne locked is long enough for her, so her decision was that I’ll be caged for a random week of her choosing, outside of Locktober, if I slip up again.

If you can do 6 weeks, you can do three months. She should already have noticed improvements.

You might want to review your choice of cage. It is normal for people to downsize after first buying one that is too roomy.

Stainless steel is best for hygiene.

My cage is stainless steel. We’ll stick with it. I think your advice is based on permanent chastity. We only do Locktober, we’ve never thought about anything more than that.
