What's wrong with this experiment? She doesn't like the taste, and she's telling you to taste it yourself to realise why she doesn't like it.
So you could do what she asks (it's not hard), find out why it's not for everybody, and accept that she doesn't enjoy it.
Or do what she asks, feel you don't mind that taste, but accept that's you, not her, and that she doesn't enjoy it.
