Just Curious - Sexy Clothing

At work today, one of the guys said there is nothing sexier on a woman than a white t-shirt and blue jeans.

That sparked off a whole conversation on clothing.

Women's ideas on what's sexy and Men's ideas on what's sexy seemed to be polar opposite.

A lot of the women thought the men would say a little black dress or something skimpy, but that wasn't the case.

Interested to hear what people have been told they look sexy in?

Probably not, but Margo in Margo clothes was pretty hot, too.

There is no doubt in my mind that Margo was the dirtier one out of the two. ❤️🍆

I work in a very female dominated workplace and have conversations like this regularly. There is a beautiful disconnect between what we think the opposite sex thinks is sexy and what is the reality like you found today.

I also believe if you knew what goes though our monkey man brains that you wouldn’t want to live with us.

For a woman I’ll go floaty floral summer dress on a breezy summers day.

For a man I think theatre blues look good prepared to be told different 😂

Each to their own!

I like men in lumberjack shirts. Not sure if that's because I want them to pick me up and throw me over their shoulder though!

Watching old movies, Men such as Cary Grant or Roger Moore in Dinner Jacket, white dress shirt and a bow tie That is a Yes Please for me.
Some women in tweed skirts and Viyella or Jaeger shirts impressed me when I was younger.
My dislikes are men whose trousers slip and concertina over the ankles. Use Braces you clown, a belt will not grip your expanded waist any more.

Theatre blues are the classic NHS Theatre uniform,now worn more regularly in clinic also. I don’t wear them regularly but my mates wife only has to hear I had them on and she’s gone lol .

Should really buy my mate a set for his birthday 😂

I once had a fling with a 6ft 4 surgeon, dark hair,blue eyes amazing smile, few years younger than me. I asked him to bring a set of scrubs to the hotel once when we met up. An ER / Greys anatomy fantasy satisfied right there 😊

I think, first, there's a bit difference between dressing specifically to look sexy, and what happens to look sexy when you're dressed but with an aim of doing something else.

This sounds theoretical, but for me it's the details that flow from confidence...if I'm thinking of both men and women, the shirt that's in a more flamboyant shade than usual (thinking pink rather than white) or even a buttonhole for the most special occasions. The heels fractionally too high or nails too long. Just a tiny impression that someone has thought about a detail and has the confidence to carry it off.

I think that women can look sexy in gym gear but it is what her personality is counts more that the clothing. If she talks sexy that is worth more than clothing.

I'm the opposite. I love it when people dress up. I like being around nicely dressed people or women in gym gear.

An aside- occasionally I see man asking what's the male equivalent to lingerie, ie something that effortlessly turns on women. I'm waiting for some viral meme that says it's men holding up their arms with a plastic falcon attached - result - lots of young men with sore arms and a worldwide shortage of plastic falcons.
