Recently single and new to the dating scene. What is up with blokes sending dick pics??? This was definitely not a thing when I was younger!! It grosses me out in fact I find it disgusting. A good way of sorting the wheat from the chaff so to speak, but wtf though??? I don't think I'd be alone in this view but does anyone actually like being sent them?? The mind boggles

And no, I don't think only men are visual. Well, I am, too. I am also very imaginative. Being visual and imaginative isn't mutually exclusive.

Personally I think this idea that men are somehow simple/basic/thick/turned on by the sight of anything and, by extension, not imaginative/not deep/not feeling/not authentic/genuinely connected/... sophisticated/..... superior ........ well, personally I think that's so untrue of so many men. I think it's really disrespectful, and actually quite simplistic/basic/etc ... and a pity. Because anyone thinking like that misses out on a lot, in my humble opinion.
