Loss of Libido

I have 0 sexual desire now
It literally feels like it got up and left and never returned

I would always get that horny feeling where now I feel absolutely nothing

I have a suspicion it was when I got on the implant , I took it out 10 days later from the terrible side effects how ever my horniness unlike every one else's never ever returned !

I think it cancelled out all of my sexual hormones

Any way another thing I have looked into is my thyroid as I have seen that can have a major impact on libido so I thought if it's not the first it could possibly be something to do with that

So I booked a blood test
And to my surprise everything came back normal (I thought it would answer my questions and tell me what hormone I was lacking ) .... it did not

I did ask the receptionist if I could have a copy of my bloods a couple of years ago to compare the two and when I looked I noticed my serum TSH level has gone up to 1.9 where it was 0.92 a couple of years ago when I felt normal

Could this be the answer to my lack of sex drive ?

It still came back a normal result but I feel anything but normal right now

Please please I don't know where else to turn to get answers , i thought a blood test would literally tell me what happened to my body but it hasn't told me anything

Any advice greatly appreciate I literally don't know where else to turn now

A gynaecologist with a special interest in endocrinology will help you. Eg. The London PMS and menopause centre. They will deal with loss of libido in women all the time and will approach treatment from a hormone point of view if necessary.

Gp are not going to be very helpful with this. Although it's good that you had bloods done by them as it cheaper and another clinic may be able to interpret them as part of their assessment.
