Bleeding after sex 🙃

i'm 23 years old, my child is just over 3 years old so I haven't been pregnant since 2020. I had the implant inserted a couple of months after giving birth once my body felt normal enough, since then I have experienced fresh bleeding and slight cramping after sex with my husband. Sometimes it's straight after, sometimes it's the morning after/ few hours after. So after nearly three years, I decided to take it out in March this year, the bleeding is still happening every time so I was just wondering if anybody else has had this experience? There's a direct history of cervical cancer in my family with my mum having it at 16 but I dontcwant to worry myself with those kinds of thoughts.
Thank you :)

I would suggest talking to your GP.

I wouldn't worry too much but would check it out with a GP. Some hormonal BC can make the cervix quite sensitive, and bleeding can be the result. Don't be scared to check things out, only you can look after your health.

There's other reasons it's more likely to be than cervical cancer. But go to your GP for an examination and ask to be referred for a colposcopy. I was going to ask if you are up to date with your smears but I see you're only 23.

You do need to see your GP, as bleeding after sex is a red flag. It can be other things too, but you do need to get it checked.

I had this after the coil went in for about 8 months till we took it out. Every time we would have sex I would cramp after and have spotting for a day or two. Maybe you need to be seen by Obs and Gyne so they can have a look and see if there is something wrong or harmed with your cervix

2 possible likely reasons - ectropion or altered cervical cells (or both) - which may or may not go away on there own. The way to find out is to have a smear test.
