Your best sex ever - with a casual or long term partner?

I was reflecting the other day on how the best sex I’ve ever had (top two ‘places’) is definitely with people where the sex was casual. Not to say I didn’t enjoy it with the LT partners but definitely two particular casual partners stand out as being the best.

I think that’s more about meeting the right person, I have been in 2 LTRs and in both the sex was good at 1st but soon dried up, the 2nd LTR was “serious”, we were talking a little about marriage, but the relationship was almost sexless before we got that far.
maybe I’ve been unlucky but in both cases the women almost stopped putting any effort in (in the bedroom) after the 1st couple of years, I have a more casual partner now and it’s always good and exciting

My best sex has been short term relationships where the chemistry has been amazing but where, after a few weeks of cracking shagging, we realise it’s the only area of compatibility

When we seperated, i started dating, chatted to a lady on a dating site a few times and we agreed to meet up, the chemistry was there from the off, didnt have full sex on 1st night but we spent the night together, lots of touching etc and we both felt no inhibitions from the 1st moment we got naked, 2nd date we were so turn on it was a bit hurried, but from then on - every time we met was mindblowing sex, very relaxed and un hurried, even did it outdoors, guess it was just a chemistry and compatibility thing, even did the webcam thing without any awkwardness, happy days lol,

What i think of as great sex has changed as I have got older. When I was young I enjoyed casual sex and great generally meant dirty. I remember various episodes with pleasure but not nostalgia

Now I wouldn't want casual sex any more. I love the intimacy of great sex with someone you love, who knows everything there is to be known about you (or if they don't know everything, you aren't hiding anything). The huge pleasure from that intimacy, the joy, the humour, can't be beaten in my pov

The best sex I had was just with someone I met on fab singers.
I was 47 and he was 72. We met a few times and the sex was amazing.
