Is this ED?

Recently when me and my DH have had sex he’s taken longer to cum and sometimes not at all and if we eventually stop he will still be hard, or sometimes we’ll be having sex and he’ll go soft and he can’t get hard again. Recently, when we had sex he said he had cum but I know he hadn’t, as I can feel it when he does and it’s noticeable if he has. He drinks a fair amount of alcohol throughout the week and I’m not sure if this is having an affect on his ability to orgasm. Everything online points to ED.

Sounds more like delayed ejaculation than ED. Blokes don't just stay hard indefinitely until they cum. If that's taking ages then not surprising if he goes soft before it. Could be all manner of reasons behind it - stress, health issues, definitely alcohol won't be helping.

It's also possible for a man to have 'dry' orgasms, especially if he's suffering from delayed ejaculation - it's an almost orgasm, but without the ejaculation. I guess it's probably similar to a tantric orgasm, but much more frustrating when it's unintentional.

DE can be a self fulfilling prophecy too - the more aware a man is that he's taking a long/too long time, the more self conscious he becomes about it and the harder it becomes to reach orgasm. And then next time it'll play on his mind that last time took ages as well.

Yes alcohol can frequently lead to what you describe. He needs to cut it back and make sure he looks more after his health with exercise etc

Yes he generally looks after himself, he’s slim and active. The alcohol is generally just something he has to unwind after a long day at work, it’s most likely work stress. I’ll see how things go and maybe mention it, if it persists.

Yep, drink affects performance, if he cuts down on booze that will certainly help
