Best method for public hair removal?

So I use a razor in the shower but find I have to do this daily to stay smooth.
I'm hesitant about waxing as I've heard you have to let it get long first and I like to be totally smooth (and there's the pain thing!)
Is there a delapitory cream for down there which anyone recommends?

waxing for me - it hurts less and less each time, and for me worth it as regrowth is far slower than cream etc.

Waste of money, I'm going back to my tried & trusted razor...

For me, hot wax is practically painless in comparison to strip waxing. Toying with the idea of laser hair removal though!

You remove it in public?!

Lasered it all off, bikini, legs and underarms. Best thing I ever did, no more shaving/creams/waxes...

Hot wax. I do it myself. Not painful. I also use the Philips Lumea IPL. This means that the hair doesn't regrow (after a couple of regular uses and then less frequent "maintenance" uses). It leaves only a small area to wax (where I don't use the Lumea as my skin is too sensitive). It really doesn't have to be long to wax off though.
