Is it normal to have to use lube each time you have sex?

As title.

We have to use lube every time nowadays mid 30’s, been together 7 years. Truth be told I just don’t get very turned on until we’re in the thick of things.

I think DH is seeing it as a slight against him though or is feeling pissed off. He hasn’t said anything but he always looks really disappointed when he goes to pull out the lube

When I was younger and started having sex, I had no issues with lubrication (I would worry it was too much if anything). Sex was really painful at times though, due to a gynae condition I have. Decided to try lube even though it really didn’t seem like I needed it and the pain reduced by about 90%. I was really shocked. I use it every time since.

I still get aroused though - if you don’t then that suggests a bigger issue. I wouldn’t use it to get through sex I’m not enjoying - I just wouldn’t have sex.

No issues with NEEDING it. But it makes. Hand job more fun

@SambaMamba especially if the man is circumcised. DH likes me using it at the start as makes it really sensitive for him
