How many parents would seriously consider stab proof body armour for their kids to be worn under clothes on a regular basis? combined with parkour and

'Serious' ie krav maga (what they teach mossad the Isreali Secret Service), Ninjitsu (as in assasin ninja) martial arts

How many would want their kids carrying something like pepper spray or a taser if they could?

Given the levels of knife and other extream violence

Far more teenagers die in car accidents than from knives. Perhaps we should ban them from cars?

Seriously, go and see a doctor for your paranoia.

Actually head in the sandisim is worse than paranoia

Informer - where do you live where teenagers and kids are getting stabbed 'practically every day' - a Wes Craven film? They estimated 5 people a week were fatally stabbed last year, that's over every age group AND (importantly) including every incident, including premeditated murder, drunken incidents, domestic violence, prison violence etc. So it's certainly nowhere near 'practically every day' in the case of schoolkids or teenage violence.... or in words you seem to prefer "peeps comin' on ma turf dissing ma ho's".

Instead of researching martial arts and stab vests try not buying the Daily Mail for a week and teaching your own kids, or someone else kids (if you really want to make a difference) how and WHY to avoid violence and violent situations in the first place.

Plus disease, traffic accidents, suicide etc etc etc are responsible for far more deaths so I do hope you and your family aren't going to use any form of transport, are going to speak to a counsellor regularly, are never going to contact each other (in case domestic abuse occurs) and are going to stay indoors wrapped in cotton wool while still being outdoors in the fresh air too (to minimise domestic accidents and cotton wool asphixiation)?

the news always prints shock horror but seriously, the chances of being stabbed ins chool (you could always HE) are tiny compared to risks every time your child gets in a car!
10 poeple every day are killed by cars.

North london on the boarder of nice and not so nice areas like Tottenham where always seeing teen boys in gangs walking around acting hard, whilst reading about the weekly stabbings and batterings that actually make the press whilst most muggings and threats dont.

Whilst other areas are far worse like Hackney
