Sensitive question for teachers

I have a Key Stage Four group with several pupils with erm...BO issues. It has got to the point where my other classes come in and say, "Arghh miss, you've had that stinky class again". The pupils have all been spoken to gently several times (not by me) and they improve for a few days and then it gets bad again.

Any ideas how I can help my classroom to stay smelling nice even after this class? Would rather not have to use nasty chemical air freshener things.

Please help. They are a gorgeous class but today was worse than ever!

I now have a clear space by the window that students often sit in, I am thinking of getting some beanbags.

If you look at my whiteboard you can see I am listening to R4 womans hour I think!

Your room is very like mine actually, size wise. Am still jealous of heating and cupboards though!

Heated - unfortunately some of these pupils only have one shirt each, so contacting parents would be a very sensitive issue indeed.

Will try the burning matches and keep them well under lock and key!

It is 'my' room but is used by other teachers when I'm on non-contact: that's when things get messed up at times.
