Summer Virtual Programmes for secondary school kids

I've just signed my DS for a short summer course with the Society of Genealogists. It's history focused, with virtual training and I think she'll really enjoy it, she's excited so that's a win! I wondered if anyone knew of any other summer virtual classes that she can sign up for? She's 14 and I'm really trying to keep her busy over the summer but still do school work disguised as fun! Welcome any suggestions. Thanks in advance

@IssaUser look up the Smallpeice Trust for engineering courses. They aim for 50% girls (and some of their courses are girls-only).

Any reason you're looking at virtual courses rather than in-person? Could be more fun to go out to do a course.

Spyder Outreach does really amazing classes for pre-teens/teens that are literature/philosophy based. I know they're running online Further English Literature Masterclasses in the summer and have got some other online courses. It's good fun for your child and also academically invigorating. Here's their webpage

Seconding this. My dc did an excellent "colonising Mars" engineering adventure with them a few years ago.

We're moving around over the summer, so she won't be able to attend something in person.
