School want proof of address for child

Hello,
i have recently moved home and the school are asking for proof of address. I can provide this for my self ( council tax, insurance letters) but struggling for my daughter. I sent bank statements which were rejected.

They will accept child benefit letters. Will HMRC send me a letter to my new address when I change the address for my child?

If the CB letter fails, you can point out that even DBS accepts a bank statement (less than 3 months old) as POA. I would bet a good number of the teachers are there by this means.

Presumably her current school will also have details of her home address. Is there any reason there could be additional concerns? E.g. Is she is currently attending another school as a day pupil a very long distance from your home? Does her current school hold a different home address? Do you own another property and are now renting?

I don't see how you can prove your child's address, can you prove your child lives with you? Unless they have a bank account or savings that sends them updates, it sounds stupid.
