SEN secondary school & Mainstream secondary with good SEN in Haringey - any recommendation?

Hello
My DD is Y7, has emotional based school avoidance. The transition to secondary created huge anxiety and currently at 60% attendance rate. She goes to Greig City Academy but the SEND is horrible there.

Just kicked off EHCP process requesting the local authority for needs assessment. Does anyone know which mainstream secondary school in Haringey has good SEND support and capability that can accommodate EHCP? We don't know what EHCP will say, but would like to know mainstream secondary that has a supportive and comprehensive SEND structure & offering with sufficient SEND staff + potential (and easy referral) to any additional specialist support (ex: occupational therapy, etc.).

Also which SEN school within Haringey (or nearby, as seems like oversubscribed!!) would you suggest? We just had autism assessment awaiting full report - we think our DD has got autism (with potential PDA and ADHD).

Any info and experience would be very much appreciated!!

I have heard that Heartlands and APS are good. Some people like Park View: they have an extremely high proportion of SEND.

Thank you. Have you heard anything about Fortismere?

Fortismere is universally regarded as appalling for Sen provision. I have heard this from many parents there.

Thank you @Wonderberry , that’s very helpful 🙏

The Mulberry High School on White Hart Lane has done lots of training with The Grove Special School.

I wouldn't go anywhere near Fortismere personally.

Have you looked at The Grove, Holmewood or Silverways (Enfield)?

OP is looking for mainstream. Following with interest. My eldest starts APS in September. He has no SEN but my youngest does and so I am going to be watching very closely to see if I think it would work for littlest. I have heard good things about the SEN provision at APS but he is a bit of a dolly daydream and I wonder if a smaller school would work better.
