JAGS, Alleyns or Sevenoaks

I'm trying to decide between JAGS, Alleyn's, and Sevenoaks for school choice for DD. Commute-wise, JAGS and Alleyn's are more convenient, but between the two, which one is better overall? Also, is Sevenoaks worth considering over JAGS and Alleyn's, despite the longer commute? Any insights on academics, extracurriculars, and overall student experience would be greatly appreciated!

I know all the schools: my dc had an offer from two and went to one (years ago so you may need more recent input) . But we need to know much more about your DD’s strengths and personality.

the key difference aside from coed vs single sex is that Sevenoaks as you will know has Saturday school and IB. Some of our friends dc ended up boarding at Sevenoaks from year 9

my personal, unpopular, view (based on my own experience of both single sec and coed as a teenager, but also backed up - at least on the academic results) is for single sex schools for girls.

Personality-wise, my daughter is cheerful, sociable, and very outspoken. She enjoys spending time with friends and has a happy, lively nature. I’m confident she will thrive in any school, especially these three. The tough decision is between Alleyn’s and JAGS, as their GCSE and A-Level results are very similar.

I wouldn’t pick a school with a worse commute when you have such good options with a better commute. The journey eats up a large part of their day.

my two cents worth on Jags v Alleyns: Alleyns feels more modern, and has a huge amount going on which can be a bit much sometimes. Jags feels more traditional, a bit less innovative - although the head is now making changes. But calmer - better perhaps for a child who might get overwhelmed. Nice green space and sports spaces at both, perhaps more at Jags but not much in it. I perceive a bit more racial diversity at Jags but not sure of the facts. Lots of would be medics. Saturday sports matches are less common at Jags I believe - matches are usually on a weekday.

Cheerful sociable and very outspoken would go down well in both schools! Plenty of strong performers and strong personalities at both.

Obviously, single sex vs mixed sex. Pros and cons. I am still on the fence about which I think is better for girls. I suspect in the younger years having single sex works best but mixed has more benefits when say 14/15+ (but moving to a boys school with a mixed sixth form is a disaster area IMO!!)

Thank you, much appreciated.
I a slightly leaning more towards JAGS for similar reasons.
