Any grammar or good ind near Camden town

Trying to find good secondary schools around Camden town, I don't know the area so not sure if there is any grammar near it (commutable ) or a good independent school with a good bursary . Appreciate any help. Thanks

Thanks. I've just discovered that I can download the data in Excel format which makes it a lot easier to manage as well as to see previous years. Now on the list to do. I have time though.

The head at Acland Burley - who is highly regarded - is now executive head at Haverstock as well. Only since September so too soon to see any obvious changes but I imagine that they must be in the pipeline as the two schools have such different approaches.

Haverstock doesn't seem to have a great reputation (perhaps unfairly), so it will be interesting to see what changes.

2000 girls sit the exam for Henrietta Barnett School and there are 93 places. It is the top state school in the country.

For boys I would recommend UCS in Hampstead.

I've only heard positive (occasionally glowing!) things about Haverstock in recent years from current KS3/4 parents. There's always a big lag in reputation vs reality, both in terms of schools that improve and those that are starting to slip...
