State schools near south London with no catchment

Hi,

I want to move areas from sw london further out to Surrey etc. Don't want to move during y6 as that sounds very tough. So looking for coed state schools that you can get into from anywhere. Has anyone done this? I know about Graveney as that's close to us, hoping there are others.

Also interested to hear from anyone who managed to do a move without changing primary schools.

Thanks

You could look at Richmond, they have 3 excellent coed schools which is unusual for one borough in London but I’m not sure on the admissions detail except that catchments are pretty tight.

@todayortomorrow at my daughter's (South London) primary Year 5 was when quite a lot of families starting moving around. It's fine to change schools at age 9/10.

You will need to sit the Wandsworth test for Graveney as the catchment doesn’t reach Balham. So maybe sit the Sutton one too?
