Request for Last Minute Gcse Tips Please

I've posted before about DS in year 11

GCSEs start next week. He's been a bit more motivated recently but.....

Does anyone have any last minute tips that will help him do better please? Across the board.

He hasn't really wanted our involvement and so I feel a bit powerless and as if I've left him down.

Mine found English podcasts useful, walking to the gym and at the gym.
Not sure how useful they really were really, but it was good to slide in a bit of extra revision in what previously was dead time - he struggled to revise independently at home.

  1. Use any time at the end to check. Check our answers: that you have answered everything you needed to, and so on.
  2. Don’t talk too much to friends afterwards about how it went.
  3. Never write a sentence you don’t know the last word of.

Teacher here with x2 GCSE classes, my top tip is answer all the questions even if you guess and ignore what everyone else is doing. Be prepared for unexpected questions and think what the content you have learnt is for the answer. All the best

If you're writing the answer in the wrong place, number it really carefully and obviously.

And don't write in the bit that says "leave blank"
