schools for football and academics

any private senior schools in the uk that offer very good academics and football?

I'd expect that. My dd went to a school where the focus was dance and ballet. Academics at 6th form level were largely voluntary.
My son went to a state college to study music. He did a Btec, not A levels. He'd never have passed A levels.

I suspect the mistake of this school is even offering A levels in the first place. I imagine most who go for the football are not interested in them.
