Possibly a bit late now as you asked a while ago but yes, my DD is there and loving it. She's absolutely thriving, the teachers know her so well, work with her through challenges such as managing her workload and balancing her extra curriculars. All lovely people.

@ImaginaryCat , could you say more? Our DD was just accepted and is deciding between D'Overbroeck's, Wychwood, and possibly the Dragon. We loved meeting the Head Teacher (over Teamsapplying from abroad), and I was intrigued by the assessment exams. I worry that it might be too techiecan you speak to the amount of computer usage in the classroom? And, Nick (HT) was clear that the school is fairly student-driven, and I wondered what that actually looks like in the classroom. We have a bright and sparky child who is also a bit shy at times, so I wonder if she would be overwhelmed by a student-led curriculum (if that's what it is). All thoughts welcome!

@EBoulder by student led I think they mean the way everything is created around individual children. Within 2 months of my daughter starting year 7 it felt like every teacher had really got to understand her, how to support her in the classroom, and how to work with her little quirks. There were so many opportunities for her to be celebrated, little competitions and tutor group activities.

@ImaginaryCat , thank you! I guess I'm having a hard time discerning between Wychwood and D'Overbroeck's. Do you have a sense of their differences? And, how much computer usage is there in the classroom? We are coming from public school in the US, so likely DD won't have as much experience with computers, though that can be learned quickly.

@EBoulder they all have devices and access a lot of the lesson material and homework in these. But I think it's a good balance, there's lots offline too. And there's plenty of support to teach them how to use the software... DD had hardly done anything on computers before starting there.
