Anyone with experience on these school at Bexley borough? DD wants townley but i've heard mixed stories about that and am torn between these two. She's a quiet girl and introvert, will townley suits her?

i have a dd at Townley. She is happy there. There are lots of clubs that suit all kinds of kids eg. Library, classics, sports. I think bexley has the better rep and would have preferred that myself at the time as id heard mixed stories too. But I’m happy with the choice and would recommend.

Dd is at Townley and we had the same dilemma. She chose herself and hasn't had any problems and whilst we haven't had any bad experiences I can't say anything glowing either.

Her friend went to Bexley and is thriving there, I know a couple of others with children there and they are really happy with it. It seems they are really supportive and they make sure you take up support. Friends only negative is that the class and school I think is 2/3 boys.

I'm choosing again for Ds and struggling.

Great thanks! It's difficult to pick between these two, so it's great to hear some feedback from existing students about their experiences

I've asked DD a few times whether she has any regrets about her choice and she's said no. I've seen a post on elevenplus forums about bullying at Townley so will ask her about it later. It could be that if it's happening it's elsewhere in the school and she's not aware. I know a girl joined her school from Chis n Sid as wasn't happy there but she didn't stay long.

An quick update - DD choose Townley at the end and is happy there. They've been helping the girls to settle down and give them time to get familiar with the new environment. Lots of clubs for her which she enjoys, summer school helps her settles even more and getting new friends. There were hiccups of cos like locating locker/getting around/losing items but she still enjoy the school overall and is happy so far.

That's a good update. It's quite a lot, and a teacher said they can see them lagging towards the break. Bet she's glad the two week half term has started. DS is can't wait for his.
