Hi,

My child has a bexley test.

I can not really fathom the right gauge or questions or guess the number of questions.

Has anyone recently sat a new GL test after the area previously had GL?

Should I assume 80 questions hour 1? 80 questions hour 2? Is the timing that awful?

All I know is:

Each paper is divided into two sections.

The Verbal Skills paper consists of a passage to read and then questions concerning what you have read.

There are then questions testing two of the following areas: spelling, punctuation or grammar.

This is followed by a Verbal Reasoning section, which tests how well you can apply rules and work out relationships between words and letters.

The Non-Verbal Reasoning and Mathematics paper tests your ability to work out relationships between shapes and patterns (NVR). The mathematics questions draw upon what you have been taught in class; however, there may be some questions that are more challenging than what you are used to. This is so that you can demonstrate how well you can use the skills you have gained already to solve new kinds of problems.

Well my child has sat but could not really tell me anything .. however I also understand you are meant to keep test details quiet. This is because there will be late sitters who use the same test. That said I am super concerned because my child could not really tell me much after the test? So not very helpful for you!

I wish your child the best of luck. Sometimes kids are hard to get details from, especially when we want to know more
