My year 10 dd is at a school where parents have concerns and there are lots of complaints. Think ,3 head teachers since she has been there, petty rules and unruly behaviour. She is naturally bright and in top bands/sets for everything. She is conscientious ,will monitor her own perfomance etc .She is actually happy at school and easy going and content at home .She does not want me to complain ,question anything with staff .I do not want to break trust. Would you contact the school about issues or leave it? Looking forward to any replies. Thankyou.

If it's not effecting her don't bother

What are the issues? Is she bothered about them, and how is she otherwise managing them?

If she's happy, getting good marks and it's not affecting her then what issues would you be bringing up that they're not already aware of?

The issues are that time is wasted with behaviour control and other issues eg constantly checking uniform etc and I think this may affect her overall grades? Just looking for opinions .Thankyou.

Those issues are the same at every other school. My DDs used to complain about lost teaching/learning time because the teachers had to spend so much time with the idiots in the class who would constantly mess about. But there's not a lot teachers can do about it, or at least not until parent stop complaining that their child has been given detention or whatever, and start actually supporting teachers with the handling of disciplinary issues.
