All the Richmond schools are good, and an academic child will do well at any of them. But most won't have a space in year 9. This page will tell you what you need to do to apply: www.richmond.gov.uk/services/children_and_family_care/schools_and_colleges/school_admissions/in_year_admissions. Then you'll be told which schools have a space.

You can check out individual school results on this government website: www.gov.uk/school-performance-tables

There's a local league table here but don't sweat over minor differences. As I said, and academic child can do well at any of them: teddington.nub.news/news/local-news/results-how-boroughs-schools-performed-in-2022-gcse-and-a-level-exams-156408

Also don't worry too much about A levels yet because a lot of young people switch to other schools or colleges after year 11.

Also, don't fret over Ofsted Good versus Outstanding because the difference can be very marginal, can depend on the subjective judgement of individual inspectors, and also the criteria by which schools are measured changes over time, so they're not always being judged in the same way.

You might not be able to apply until you have an address in Richmond.

You can apply, but you'd have to use your current address, then update the address when you move. Most admissions policies are distance-based, so being closer can help to bump you up the waiting list. But some admissions policies are more complicated so it's worth checking for individual schools. (St Richard Reynolds and Christs both have some faith-based criteria. Waldegrave is a girls school with 2 catchment areas. Turing House's main admissions point is a couple of miles away from the school).
