Entrance exam for West London schools - how hard?

Hi everyone

my Daughter will be applying for Sept 2024 entry to a number of schools in west London:
G&L
Latymer
NHEHS
Francis Holland
LEH

for the girls (boys who did Latymer too) how hard is the exam?
Do you think these choices are all too intense?

I would really like my daughter to get into the first three, and she’s really smart but makes silly mistakes in homework/workbooks which she only she’s after and that costs her marks.

are these too ambitious?

TIA for any advice

@SamPoodle123 My DS did something similar for English but it wasn't weekly. It was for two weeks (different places) during the summer holidays. I worked with him at home when I wasn't at work myself.

Not all prep schools are on the same level of prep. We found certain schools were way ahead in terms of prep and teaching kids exams techniques in computer format and written. So if you just follow school suggestions etc you need to check that other prep schools are doing the same, otherwise your DC will be at a disadvantage.

Hello,

I am struggling to find another thread for 11+ 2024 SW London. I have a DD in a local state school who will be doing the exams this autumn. How does everyone feel about LUS introducing their no GCSE plans?
