Central/West London School for 'Averagely Bright' DC

My DS is currently at a prep in central London and will need to move to secondary after the 13+. It's quite a competitive environment and I am becoming increasingly concerned about the pace of work and number of exams. With the Common Entrance looming, we are wondering if it might be better to move schools at 11+ to a more gentle, less fast-paced environment that could nurture his interests more. He is bright but scores around 110-125 on the CAT tests etc (highly variable, depending on the day!), so definitely wouldn't suit the St Paul's/ Westminster type senior schools.

We are currently looking at:
-Harrodian
-Wetherby Senior
-Kensington Park School
-Emmanuel (although commute would be tricky)

I've read lots of threads on Harrodian and Emmanual, but I'd love any feedback on Kensington Park School or Wetherby Senior. Or any other school that might suit?

And final question: does anyone have experience with moving their child at the 11+ stage from a school that normally goes to 13+? There are more places available at 11+ for the schools we are looking at, so it seems to make sense, but I've heard that some prep schools can make things a little tricky.

Thank you!
