Taking GCSE subjects outside of school

My DD who is in Y10 is learning a modern foreign language outside of school and her tutor has proposed that she take the GCSE this year early.
My DD is interested in this subject but had doubts about whether she could get a good score, which is why we decided to pursue it outside of school to not impact her transcript but her tutor has asked for her UCI number to register her for the exam.
My question is - can we 'exclude' this result from her GCSE transcript if she doesn't get good grades or will everything be automatically linked and visible to schools through the UCI number?
Hope someone has gone thought this before and can give us some advice of their experience as google is not being too helpful :)
This might help us to decide whether to take it early or not. Thanks.

Why wouldn't you want to link it? If she genuinely thinks she'll fail then don't take it a year early? If she thinks she'll scrape a pass then that's fine isn't it?

What would be the pros of taking it early? Why is her tutor suggesting it? Because she’s excelling and 100% ready?
If so then the risk of it being a poor result is small is it not?
If she’s not feeling confident and ready then wait.
Can she not retake if she’s not pleased with the result anyway?

Speaking as a tutor of MFL myself, I would only ever suggest a student took the exam early if I were confident that they would do very well. I would want to either be sure they would gain an 8 or 9, or else (maybe) calculate that their highest possible grade whenever they took it would be (say) a 6/7 and that they were already at that point. The latter seems less likely tho. What does the tutor say? Assuming they are a person of integrity then I cannot see what motivation they would have for doing your dd out of a good grade.

How long has your DD been working on the GCSE syllabus? Which board is it? Is it GCSE or iGCSE? There is a lot of content to cover in all the syllabi and if she has only been working on it for a year I would be surprised if she has covered enough to take the exam this summer. Of course if it is language she already spoke as a mother tongue or from living in the country then that is different.
I cannot see any advantage to taking it early apart from saving on tutor fees tbh – and I guess limiting the exam pressure in yr 11.

If she takes it she will need to declare whatever result she achieves later.

Thank you all for your advice.
As my DD has not been learning this language for too long, we too were surprised that the tutor asked her to take the gcse early.
Tutor's reasoning is that she is probably 6/borderline 7 right now so it's worth it to take the exam now and free up the time next year for her.
School has confirmed that all GCSE results need to be declared when preparing UCAS form down the road, but have also said that it does not disadvantage uni applications in any way so we have decided we'll go for it and have her sit this subject early :)
