A little under 3 years ago I was depressed and wrote some good bye letters.

I managed to pull myself out of it without any help.

These letters were in a notebook and I’d put them in confidential waste bag from work. I’ve never taken the bag in.

Our daughter found the letters the other day looking for a notebook for some school work.

She has spoken to a teacher about it and they asked her to call us. She has just done this. (Should add, she always finds it easier to speak to us about stuff in a way she can control eg a phone. No dark reason as our other teen (two years younger) doesn’t have same issue. So I think it’s her preference as opposed to us being not easy to talk to - although I will try and look into that for her.)

I apologised profusely - explained I was in a bad place, am not know.

Gutted for her I didn’t just bloody thrown them away.

The teacher is calling me in a bit.

My DH thinks they will now make a social service referral. Which tbh, I’m not unhappy about if that’s what that should d done to protect kids and for them to assess if they are vulnerable.

But I have a habit of worrying about the unknown. Please, can someone tell me if a referral is likely to be made? Just so I can settle it in my mind! Thank you
