Please help me settle a debate with argument with DH. When I was at school this was on the A-Level maths syllabus but he thinks it has now moved to the further maths syllabus?

No idea where it is now, but I've definitely done them, and don't have FM.

Dd1 is doing maths and FM with OCR-B doesn't think it's covered in the modules she has. ( On a positive note she did know what I was talking about ! )

Absolutely A-Level Maths in the very early 90s, in fact they started in AO maths.
They were in London board maths multiple choice paper and Cambridge board. Say Cambridge June 91 got a C took London Nov 91 got an A.

It is still on AS Level on the CCEA board (N.Ireland). Also on GCSE Further Maths.

Edexcel /AQA go straight onto simultaneous equations with one linear / one quadratic I don't think linear equations with three unknowns is on their A Level ... although perhaps assumed pre knowledge for some topics!

Yes, I did the NI board in the early 90s
and it was on the pure paper. I wonder why it’s not on the a-level anymore?
