Sec sch recommendations for anxious girl (midlands)

Hi all
I wondered if you could help me out with recommendations for secondary schools for my DD?

She had separation anxiety until yr2 and only came out of her shell because of the high level of nurture / strong pastoral support in her primary.

She's meeting age related expectations and probably capable of more, but just not really keen on academics. Loves arts and crafts, IT, DT, outdoor ed and some sports - e.g., hockey, football.

Independent or state considered, anywhere in the Midlands, prefer girls schools but co-ed okay. Needs to be a small school with exceptional pastoral support and def not a hothouse (they wouldn't want her anyway!!). If state, would prefer one that has a good reputation for supporting high functioning YP with autism and anxiety.

Am I asking the impossible...?

Any help would be appreciated 🙏🏻

Thanks

Loughborough Amherst?

Hollygirt (Nottingham)?

Both former girls' schools now co-ed, but small with nurturing atmospheres and a local "academic" girls school to take the heat off.

Thank you, not heard of either as had been looking in Warks / Nth Oxon / Bucks / Northants but now spreading the net wider.

Thanks so much @HappyHolidai

Commute to Birmingham, good secondary schools. Looking for advice on where to move to for catchment inc Grammars.
Considering Worcestershire, Warwickshire or Birmingham. House budget around 500k.
prefer busy places but want school to be not too stressful so have ruled out B’ham KE schools.

@Wordchild I suggest you start a separate post.

FWIW, Birmingham's KE grammars are not generally considered to be more stressful than the other grammars in the region.

Better discussed in a separate post (mentioning region in title).

Kingsley School in Leamington Spa could be a good fit

Thanks! I thought I was starting separate post but I clearly didn’t. Will do so now. Useful to know re grammars and stress
