hello, just wanted to see if anyone can advise of how to interpret my daughters progress report. I have not had any experience in British education system, so these numbers don't say anything to me, how bad is the below? Is it lower than expected for end of Year 9? i want my daughter to go to a good college in the future, will we need a lot of improvement in the next couple years?

I would contact her head of year and ask for an explanation. Is there not explanatory guidance attached?

Agree with above. If there is no explanation with the report contact head of year and ask for one.
There is no standard system for reports, and this one doesn't really seem to be even guessable.

Usually there's a page with what the numbers mean. But ask your school many do it differently.

Ask the school for guidance.

However the numbers look like our school reports, so I would guess that the numbers equate to a rough GSCE grade equivalent.

Ours show a 'flight path' where they would expect to increase by roughly one grade per year. So if for example she is a 4 at the end of the year 9 then would be expected to be at roughly a 5 at the end of year 10 and get a grade 6 in her GCSEs. So around the equivalent of a B grade.
