Shame as I like Madi. Interested what she's chosen

Changed my first name at 18 as I hated mine and most people already used my preferred name as a nickname anyway. My parents made me wait till I was an adult. Changing my name did cause some admin issues at uni and with student loans as they had me registered under a different name when I applied, and my exam results & school info were under the old name.... but it was all sorted within a few months. It's been a non-issue really since then. I've not had to show any exam certificates to employers but if they wanted to check my results I'd probably have to explain the name change and show all the documents.
