Halliford or Reeds for dyslexic DS

Hi, has anyone got any experience of Halliford in Shepperton or Reeds in Cobham for a dyslexic child? Starting to look at schools and wondering where will be the best fit for our son. Any other schools in the area with good dyslexia support, private or state?

Reed’s is definitely great, but very hard to get into now. Really only our top stream boys got in this year, with an average CATS score of 125+. Those with CATS scores in the teens didn’t get a look in, including some bright but very dyslexic boys, and some all round good types, all of who, would be perfectly suited to Reed’s.

Look at Radnor house, they are very good. Some also like St James in Ashford. Both of these have better dyslexia support than Reeds or Halliford.

Avoid Claremont Fan Court at all costs...!

Hi ticking- just jumping on this post to follow-up on your feedback on Claremont and why you would avoid? We are considering our options at the moment.

Also considering these schools for DS. Why would you say that about CFC? I only have second hand opinions but a couple of very close friends with kids there who are very happy.

I’ve heard good things about Radnor House, St James and CFC regarding support for dyslexia.

We are also looking at St james and halliford for our son who is dyslexic. Does any one have any experience these schools

@baby109 Claremont seem to actively reject pupils with special needs. Of course they won't say that because it's discrimination but true nonetheless.
