independent schools- assessments vary by school?

Newbie to the UK education system/independent schools. My daughter will sit an assessment for 13+ entry while we are still living overseas. Can I use the results of the assessment when applying to multiple independent schools or will she have to sit an assessment for each school we apply to? thanks.

It does make applications to private schools very onerous for students and parents! You really have to narrow down exactly which schools you think will suit your DC best (and also which ones you think they have a realistic chance of getting into). IM (limited) E, it's good to put your DC in for one that you don't particularly care about first, as it's good practice for the one you really want.

Isn't there a consortium exam for a number of independent schools (I know Channing is part of that consortium)? Have a look which schools are part of it. That would be one exam for (I think) 12 different independent schools.

Unless she sits Common Entrance then each will differ. Has she taken any pretests or are you only applying to those which set their own exams at 13+?
