Faith school for sixth form

We are considering a local faith school for DS for sixth form.
The main reason we are considering the school is because it offers an A Level that is not offered everywhere, and this is the closest school that offers it.

The school website says that in the sixth form they welcome students regardless of their faith. For 11-16 they admit students first on faith criteria (although about 25% of the school are admitted on "lottery" which is the admissions criterion below the faith criteria).

My question is, should the fact that this is a faith school have any impact on the decision, or should this just be considered in exactly the same way as other 6th form options? (DS would probably described himself as an agnostic, so not sure how that would be viewed).

If the school admits other pupils then they probably expect them to respect the people of faith but not join in with religious observance? I'm an atheist and would prefer a non-faith school but would consider one that's spot on educationally.

I'd be fairly relaxed about my kids attending a faith school at that age. They're likely to have formed their own opinions by that age and have the maturity to be respectful of other's views whilst standing by their own.
