Good Morning at all,
Last question about school..........

Do they , School Admission Officer, always ask for boarding passes when they come from abroad to enroll kids at school?

Many thanks for your answers

I won't be able to answer your question anyway, but I don't understand what you are asking. Can you clarify a bit?

By 'boarding passes' do you mean for an aeroplane, or some kind of 'permission to board at school' or what?

They are more likely to want to see proof of address, than when you landed in the country (unless you were claiming to be residing at a house before application, and they believed you to still be living abroad at that yime).
No harm holding onto boarding passes that you have, but i wouldnt worry about proving when you landed in the UK, unless there is a massive back story to this school application.

They asked me for boarding passes, aeroplane, as proof of the arrival of the boys in London

it was only to understand if it is normal practice.
because I tried to register them in April, but I had to wait until July, when they arrived, with their bording passes....... I lost a lot of time, so now they aren't in the schools we were hoping for.
Perhaps, if I had registered them in April, I would have had some more changes ......

thanks

Unless you are returning crown servants, you can't apply for school places until resident with a U.K. address. If your children weren't here in April, you would not have been permitted to apply for schools for them.

It would appear that that LA realised in April you were attempting to do so, and wanted to make doubly sure that when you tried again you were in a legal position to do so.

(Caveat - some LAs are a little more lenient, but they have no obligation to be)

Thank you so much
now it's all clear
