My son is very interested in attending one of these, however I was hoping for opinions. He could best be described as 'quirky.' Long story short he had a neonatal event as a result of which he has features of a number of things but not enough for a diagnosis of anything. He's got features of Asperger's, ADHD, can be oppositional, and obsessive, 'addicted to gaming', and some spasticity/gait issues.
It sounds terrible but he mainly likes to talk a lot about things that interest him, is continually trying to play rubbish games on phone/computer, resists homework and helping around the house, misses deadlines, slightly insensitive to others feelings, and plays a bit of sport badly (doesn't really do team sports TBH but can swim and likes climbing, kayaking etc.)
He's bright and gets good marks when he applies himself, has done DOE Bronze (although needed help organising himself to submit) and does cadets and has done cubs etc.
So I was wondering whether anyone has any idea whether they would be good schools for him? Especially if you've taught in one or attended one recently.
He's probably thinking China, Singapore, Hong Kong for location.
thanks
