80% bursary at Godolphin & Latymer or Tiffins girls school?

Hi ... looking for some opinions and advice. My DD has got some great news from GL. She passed the exams and we have secured an 80% bursary for the duration of the school years.

If she manages to get into Tiffins girls school (free) Which would you send her too and why ?

We live about in between the two schools so travel either is not an issue ( I chose the schools based on realistic distance and travel ) and academics.

Any advice would be most welcome. My DD likes both and is a confident person, likes sport and music.

Thank you for sharing princessllama, that was a great question to ask.

Which school do you think is best suited for your DD ?

We did too, Piggy. We are going with St Paul's, though.

Congrats Heliophilous !!! We are going with Godolphins. I never thought we would turn down Tiffins. Feels really weird as it was always our target for years, up until the bursary offer was made.

I know, us too! It was v weird getting the offer through and thinking 'well, we don't want it'.

Congratulations to your daughter. May she have a happy time at school! And both of them have done so well to get a place - very stiff competition and it is far from easy.

Hope your girl is very happy - mine is!

Thanks again Heliophilous and congrats to your daughter too Smile.

Mine was a bit upset as some of her friends got Tiffins (4 out of 25 who tried), and only two (out of 8 who tried) got Godolphin. But she was really happy with the school in particular the climbing wall.

We also told her about the longer holidays and we would take her to Tiffins during her extra time off to see her friends after school. She's also started her own whats app group to stay in contact.

She is all smiles now :)

Thanks again for all your help and best wishes to you and your Daughter.
