Sixth form - where to go in SE London

My DD is going into year 11 and is quite a high achiever. She is currently at an all girls catholic school and would like her to move on to a more broader education, mixed and non religious for sixth form. I would appreciate any suggestions of where would be best to look at. I am at a loss of where to start looking. She has a few in mind but I feel that she is very lead by her friendship group. All suggestions welcome, Many thanks

Many thanks for all these suggestions - agree not St Olves...after all the negative press recently.

Not quite SE London, more central, but my DSD has just finished at Greycoat sixth form and really loved it. She did really well too (3 As) and got into her first choice uni. She went to a Catholic school before (mixed) but it really wasn't that great, so was a relief that sixth form was so good for her. My DD is still primary age but I am looking at Charter for her secondary school...

A sort-of relative goes to Harris Westminster sixth form. Very academic and a real mix of students.

Which borough? SE London a large area and there is a lot of choice.

Think about transport. Sixth formers are a lot more capable and independent than year 7s so you can cast the net wider, but she probably won't want to have a really long, difficult commute.

Prendergast is good, and co-ed at sixth form level.

Thank you all so much for all the information. We are in Greenwich.

From Greenwich there are quite a few; Christ the king and Prendergast (the original one in Ladywell), spring to mind first.

Bexley Grammar (although that might be IB?). Beth's grammar school. Dartford grammar school for girls - easy train ride from Greenwich. Newstead Woods in Orpington good for high achievers.
