DH has brought home a big glossy book about the 2012 Olympics. His employer was a sponsor and is giving the books away. He thought it might be welcome in our DC's school library.
It's a very attractive book, but I'd describe it as a "coffee table" book - useful in a corporate reception area for flicking through while you're waiting for a meeting, less useful in a short-of-space secondary school library, where it will probably gather dust. It's certainly too large for anyone to take home in a school bag, and probably doesn't contain any pictures or facts that couldn't be found online.
Should I donate it to the school or take it to the charity shop?
